Situated on the uplands breakwater protecting the Seward boat harbor, the Memorial features a lighthouse containing the names of mariners lost at sea or who have passed on after a lifetime of love for the ocean, as well a brick inlaid compass rose, “wave wall” windbreak, and a fantastic view of Resurrection Bay.
