The Seward Polar Bear Jump Festival is a winter festival based in Seward, AK. Brave souls take the plunge into the icy waters of Resurrection Bay annually in an effort to raise money for charity. Funds raised by SPBJ go towards the Kenai Peninsula Children with Cancer Grant Program, which gives money to families that have children battling Cancer on the Kenai Peninsula here in Alaska.

Come down to Seward to watch people dress up in costumes and jump into the Seward Small Boat Harbor (yes, in January!) to fundraise some money, attend an auction fundraiser Friday night at Tony's Bar in downtown Seward, compete for Winter & Polar Bear Royalty at Yukon Bar Saturday Night, have a steak and karaoke at The American Legion Post #5 Friday or Saturday, or attend the luminary event on Sunday morning just before sunrise.
