Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for economic development, tourism and community engagement? The Seward Chamber of Commerce, Conference & Visitors Bureau is seeking an Executive Director to drive strategic growth, foster community partnerships and promote Seward as a vibrant business and visitor destination.

As the Executive Director, you'll serve as the chief administrative and executive officer, leading Chamber operations, business development initiatives and city partnerships. What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives to support businesses, tourism and economic development.
  • Serve as the public face of the Chamber, building relationships with local leaders, business owners and government officials.
  • Oversee financial management, including budgeting, fundraising and revenue-generating programs.
  • Manage marketing efforts, including the Chamber website, PR materials and visitor engagement.
  • Lead a dedicated team, ensuring a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Represent the Chamber at local, state, and national levels to advocate for Seward’s economic interests.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven Leadership – Experience as an executive or senior manager, ideally in a nonprofit or business development role.
  • Strategic Vision – Ability to develop and implement long-term plans that drive growth.
  • Financial & Business Acumen – Strong experience in budgeting, financial oversight, and revenue development.
  • Marketing & PR Skills – Expertise in branding, digital marketing and public relations.
  • Community Engagement – Passion for building partnerships and advocating for local businesses.
  • Tech Savvy – Comfortable with Microsoft Office and website management.

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

  • Local knowledge and enthusiasm for Seward’s business and tourism landscape.
  • Experience in nonprofit leadership, economic development, or chamber management.
  • Ability to travel for events and meetings as needed.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year, DOE
