Conveniently located, carefully designed, and well-curated, the Seward Gateway Hotel is the latest addition to the harbor area.
Designed as a seasonal accommodation for Seward’s tourists, the Gateway also serves as a year-round community space for the people of Seward to host events and more.
The Gateway will open its doors on May 9, 2021 after facing the delays and hurdles of 2020. The hotel will add 71 additional seasonal rooms to Seward, as well as a spacious and bright event space which will be available to the Seward community year-round.
The Gateway Hotel is locally-owned and operated alongside the Harbor 360 Hotel and Major Marine Tours and was a long time coming, according to the team. They had been asking customers ‘how do we get you to spend more time in Seward? and the resounding answer was ‘more lodging!’
And the Seward Gateway Hotel is the answer, allowing guests to spend more time in Seward, shopping, fishing, dining, exploring, and supporting other local businesses.
Guests will be able to enjoy easy access to everything Seward has to offer, with an array of amenities including: complimentary breakfast, package options with Major Marine Tours glacier & wildlife cruises, free WiFi, shuttle services, free parking, and budget friendly accommodations.
