Generally, you may not opt-out of receiving service-related communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

Visit Seward members may opt out from receiving email blast notifications and electronic newsletters. Please note, however, that members might still be contacted via email with specific account service-related matters unless explicitly requested not to through our Seward Chamber membership director at membership@seward.com

Based upon your Web application and the personally identifiable information you provide, Visit Seward may send a welcoming email to verify your username and password. Visit Seward will communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the services you request, and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.

Visit Seward provides you the opportunity to ‘opt-out’ of having your personally identifiable information used for certain purposes, when we ask for this information.

If you no longer wish to receive our newsletter and promotional communications or if you suspect your information was given without your consent, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the instructions included in each newsletter or communication, by sending an email request to communications@seward.com If you asked to receive additional information from Alaska businesses but no longer wish to receive it, Visit Seward will ask those businesses to remove your contact information from their database. However, we do not control and are not responsible for the use of your personally identifiable information by third parties, and cannot guarantee that businesses with whom we may share information will never use your personally identifiable information in a way contrary to our organization’s policy.
