Exit Glacier Overlook

The Exit Glacier Overlook is a short hike from the Exit Glacier Nature Center located at the terminus of Herman Leirer Road. This short tromp through ancient, glacier carved landscapes provides breathtaking views of the receding Exit Glacier. Notice the signs along Herman Leirer Road marking where the glacier once sat. Although it's important to be respectful on every hike, this is one to be especially honored as our glacier slowly recedes due to rising Global temperatures. 

A couple things to note: Dogs are prohibited on this trail and Herman Leirer Road closes during the snowy months, making the area inaccessible to vehicles.
